The complainant alleged that Inspector Chan assaulted /
had assaulted him inside the interview room on the morning of 20 April(原告聲稱,四月二十日上午,陳督察在會見室毆打他)。
(1)He said he(had)managed
to catch the train(他說他趕及搭那班火車)。(2)He
said he had been in love with Patty(他說曾經鍾情佩蒂)。
The anxious crowd had to wait several minutes before he
emerged from the pile(觀眾緊張的等了幾分鐘,才見他在紙箱中站起來)。
waited(for)a long time before
the train arrived(我等了很久,火車才到來)。
